Ashurst Lake

This small, high-altitude manmade lake is popular with anglers and campers. It attracts a wide variety of resident and migrant birds, and a wide variety of water and upland birds can be seen here.

This site is reached from Lake Mary Rd via a dirt road which is passable by passenger cars in good weather, but gated off and closed during winter.
