Oracle State Park

The 4,000 acre park varies in elevations between 2,500’ and 5,000’. The park is part of a large historic cattle ranch homesteaded in 1902.

The 24 miles of trails traverse rolling hills and desert washes populated with live oaks, mesquites, manzanita, yucca, prickly pear cactus and bear grass. Best birding is from the patio and ranch house gardens and walking the trails that loop around the historic Kannally Ranch House and Group Use area. The 1.2 mile Nature Trail Loop winds down to a nature blind and waterhole noted for a great variety of birds and wildlife that come to the water.
