Muleshoe Ranch CMA
Muleshoe Ranch Cooperative Management Area protects over 49,000 acres of rugged desert and lush riparian habitats, encompassing most of the watershed of seven permanent streams, providing habitat for five species of native fish. The ranch is home to a diverse set of riparian, grassland, and desert birds and offers beautiful scenic views.

All Muleshoe Ranch headquarters buildings and the hot springs are closed to the public.
No camping or overnight parking.
Camping is permitted on BLM public lands and backcountry destinations in the CMA including Jackson Cabin (approximately 14 miles) and Hooker Cabin (approximately 20 miles). These facilities are on public land managed by the Coronado National Forest.
