Granite Dells
A little over 4 miles north of downtown Prescott, the Dells offer unique coarse-grain granite rock formations, 2 small lakes, and miles upon miles of trails. The Granite Dells is a geological feature consisting of exposed bedrock and large boulders of 1,400 million year old granite that have eroded into an unusual lumpy, rippled appearance.
Watson Lake and Willow Lake are small man-made reservoirs in the Dells and designated as Important Bird Areas (IBAs) by the National Audubon Society.
Watson Lake Park and Willow Lake Park are popular destinations in the Dells.
