Lake Mead National Recreation Area – Katherine Landing
This oasis located inside the Lake Mead National Recreation Area is just minutes from Bullhead City, Arizona, and Laughlin, Nevada. It offers generous sunshine, sparkling blue water and white sandy beaches. Site for waterfowl, shore birds and desert species. Lake occasionally has uncommon migrating species or birds blown in on storms from California. Spend the day picnicking, hiking or taking a boat out onto Lake Mohave.
