Lake Mead National Recreation Area – Willow Beach
Located on the Colorado River below Lake Mead. Riparian habitat that includes over 150 waterfowl, shorebirds, riparian and adjacent desert species. Area very popular during winter months. Surrounded by steep canyon walls along the Colorado River, Willow Beach is a paddlecrafter’s dream destination. See birds from a water craft. Many visitors choose to take a guided raft or kayak trip from the base of the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach, stopping at coves, hot springs and waterfalls along the way.
