Lost Dutchman State Park
Lost Dutchman State Park is located in the Sonoran Desert, at the base of the Superstition Mountains, only 40 miles east of Phoenix. Several trails lead from the park into the Superstition Mountain Wilderness and surrounding Tonto National Forest. Enjoy camping, cabins, and experience native wildlife including birds, mule deer, coyote, javelina and jackrabbit. A Visitor Center and Store is open daily and will provide information on the best birding locations at the Park.
