Pipe Spring National Monument
Pipe Spring National Monument offers birders a combination of diverse bird species, natural beauty, and historical interest, making it a compelling destination for those interested in avian observation. This 40-acre site is located 15 miles west of Fredonia, AZ and is enclosed within the North Kaibab Paiute Band Reservation. It is one of 21 Arizona Heritage Water sites and offers flowing spring waters, ponds, an orchard, garden and native vegetation in support of the over 170 species of birds known to visit or reside there. Ridge trail is a half mile loop that climbs to the top of the cliffs overlooking the site.
