Sierra Anchas Wilderness – Parker Creek
The Parker Creek Trail #160 is located in the Sierra Anchas Wilderness Area North East of Lake Roosevelt along the Globe-Young Highway #288. The Trail Head at 2530′ in elevation is very accessible with a small parking area. The road is paved to the site and the area very scenic. The creek usually has water and birding is easy at the trailhead. For the more adventurous, you can continue to bird along the trail but the 6.5 mile trail quickly becomes more difficult.
