Spring Creek
Spring Creek is a small, permanent-flow creek that is best accessed along a dirt road although it originates near I-17. It occupies a delightful cut through the desert of the Verde Valley and features a narrow, but lush, riparian corridor. Good birding is available within the riparian strip as well as in the surrounding desert. There is a small parking area next to the low water crossing of the creek itself.
