Telephone Lake
Telephone Lake and the adjacent polishing ponds are a man-made wetland area created by treated sewage wastewater. It is on a west side of Route 77 and an extension of Pintail Lake. The area around Telephone Lake is marshy with rocky grassland open range where cattle frequently roam.

Directions: Telephone Lake is a 150 acre lake located 4.5 on miles north of Show Low, on the west side of Arizona State Highway 77, also known as Penrod Road. There is a sometimes-rough gravel road that continues around the south side of the lake to a parking area with access to walking across the low dam and along parts of the south and west shores. There is another access point on the east shore where one can scope the entire lake.
