A 7,119 foot cliff-elevation point offering an expansive view of the Grand Canyon at the South Rim and excellent area for spotting California Condors.

Popular for its rugged, isolated trails, and its sparse facilities and getting 10% of the visitation as the rest of the park. There is a paved trail out to Bright Angel Point.

Historic oasis nestled at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Southwest willow flycatcher sited at Phantom Ranch along with Mexican spotted owl along the trails.
